  • What areas does TAD Recovery Services cover?
TAD is nationwide! We also work in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Bahamas, Mexico, Central & South America.
  • What is a Managed Service Agreement?
A Managed Service Agreement is a contract written between TAD and our clients that guarantees priority when a storm is imminent. We work directly with you to customize each agreement to fit your individual needs.
  • Why is mitigation important?
Mitigation planning reduces loss of life and property by minimizing the impact of disasters. After identifying these risks, we develop long-term strategies for protecting people and property. Mitigation plans are key to breaking the cycle of disaster damage and reconstruction.
  • What should I do if I have damage to my property following a storm?
As with any natural disaster we always recommend family and personal safety first. At TAD we start with life & safety checks prior to any work beginning. Our goal is to document all damages, secure the property and begin the mitigation process.
  • Is TAD Recovery Services licensed and insured?
Absolutely! TAD Recovery Services will always have the required licenses and insurance to protect our clients. We take pride in our knowledge and certifications, including the most respected certification in the industry from the Institute of Inspection and Cleaning Restoration Certification.
  • What is the cost of repairs?
Cost will always depend on a variety of potential scenarios including amount of damage, building code updates, current material costs, and types of materials needed to complete the work. We offer free inspections to discuss what would be necessary and can provide estimates for all work. TAD Recovery Services will assist you with the proper documentation to assist you with your claims adjuster. In many states It is illegal for a contractor to work directly with your insurance company. We will, however, assist you and the adjuster with making sure the proper means and method of construction are followed. If a price discrepancy occurs we will get you the proper information to show any price differences.
  • How long will it take to get my property back to pre-loss condition?
This is very similar to the cost of repairs and will depend on each individual project.
  • What is the process?
One of our team members will schedule an inspector to come out and perform a thorough damage assessment, determine specifically what building materials are damaged, determine the extent of your damage(s), determine a reasonable method of repair. We will then complete and sign a Service Agreement together and have you forward us a copy of your most recent claim settlement offer from your insurance company. Once that's done we will perform a comparative analysis between our estimate and your insurance carrier’s estimate to determine if there was anything overlooked or incorrectly measured. If there was, we will forward a copy of the comparative analysis to your claims adjuster and schedule a re-inspection (when necessary) so we can answer any questions your adjuster may have regarding our scope of work to help ensure that all legitimate damage is accounted for, and your carrier authorizes a reasonable method of repair. That's when we then schedule the repair work. We will commence construction as soon as feasible after the conclusion of the steps outlined above. Upon completion, we will perform a final walkthrough to confirm that the work is substantially completed per our Agreement. Once substantial completion of the work has been accomplished, we will issue a final invoice for the agreed scope of work performed. Any additional work or upgrades, over and above the scope of work authorized by your insurance carrier, will be separated out and will require an additional payment from you as per our Agreement.
